Yes, Mr Danforth is daring us to adopt his Four Square program for our own lives and yes that means we have to follow or be obedient to the things he states work… right?, Right.
But on page 23 he talks about Henry Ford.
Yep, that Henry Ford.
Mr Danforth relays the story of Mr Ford wanting unbreakable glass.
Mr Ford says “give me some eager young fellows who do not know the reason why unbreakable glass cannot be made.”
He didn’t want to see the ‘experts‘ of the day.
It does seem a little contradictory at first glance.
I myself have, on purpose, endeavored to search out ‘experts’ to see what they have to say, but…
Look again, who is displaying the four square life… ??
Obviously it isn’t the ‘experts’ of the day who produce glass for Mr Ford.
It is Mr Ford himself.
Right.
He dared to find unbreakable glass and wouldn’t take “no” for an answer.
Look at my writing.
I didn’t just one day start to write my little bloggy-blog articles out of some whimsical idea that I conjured up.

No.
I had to keep running into my friend, the book publisher, over and over again.
Then after a few times of that I said, “Ok God, I’ll ask him.”
I dared to walk up to a perfect stranger and say, “Hello, this is coming outta waaay left field, but I think God would like us to talk.”
Thing is, he was all for it.
Then at lunch as we were getting to know one another did publishing and books get mentioned.
(here is where a good sound effect of a car hitting his brakes come in) wait for it. Thanks YouTube!
Not only was he willing to talk, have lunch and get to know a new co-worker, he was also willing when I dared to ask him if he would be willing to be my writing coach and show me how to do this thing called writing.
I will forever Thank God for that day and his willingness to help.
If you haven’t noticed…
I love to write!
Who knew!!!!?????
For myself, I’m a pretty clean slate, bible say’s, “a new creation”, so as I grow forward I would like someone to show me and help me, like a father or mentor would, until I learn and can apply what I learn on my own.
Well, maybe you feel you have it all figured out, maybe you feel you don’t need any silly little plans, you are as successful as you care to be, your life is right where you want it to be, you never had to compromise one bit, Spiritual, bah, who needs it, Physical, tuh! I like to smoke, I enjoy it, Mental, yea I read your other post’s, really, you got sad and that ruined your life, Social, ba-hum-bug!, I talk to who I talk to, and I volunteer at a soup kitchen around X-Mas time…
I’m fine.
