2020… am I right?
In my experience people are turned off by a generally upbeat attitude. It reminds me of a bible verse.
“A loud and cheerful greeting early in the morning will be taken as a curse!” ~ Proverbs 27:14 New Living Translation
I think as a follower of Jesus Christ, and having a true hope, allows a person to have a radical outlook on the world and it’s machinations.
So today, I would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, regardless of the situations we find ourselves in.
Don’t think that I don’t know there are those who are going to be having a very hard day today.
I’ve had rough days. Rough holidays. Heck, even rough Tuesdays.
The difference now… in how I perceive those days… I have a relationship with Jesus, and I can see things through His perspective of the world.
Being thankful requires one to stop and contemplate why they are thankful, and what things in their lives bring them joy.
If you found this article, and you don’t know Jesus, don’t have any joy in your life, I recommend taking a simple action…
take a look into His Word… at 1 John 5:12-13
12Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
Amen
Be happy… giving thanks.
