I am a child of the wilderness.
My last name is Spanish for “son of the woods”.
As a child of the wilderness I was raised in a drought of hearing the word.
I was not in Egypt and do not know of abundance.
I’ve only known manna, quail and water as a child.
1 Kings 15:5Â
“For David had done what was right in the eyes of the LORD and had not failed to keep any of the LORD’s commands all the days of his life–except in the case of Uriah the Hittite.”
God, I am not worrying about the ‘except’ anymore.
If I’m sinning, you will correct me.
I expect you to.
I want you to.
I know you will grow me as only you can, through those training sessions.
Thank you for spotting me as we ‘work out my faith through fear and trembling’.
