As ‘The Emerging Man’ I have been reading and researching success.
One of the things I have to train myself to believe in is daily affirmations to myself.
I didn’t think this would be very hard at all, you know, because I’m awesome.
But it is very hard to do honestly with your self.
I encourage other people all the time, especially kids.
I can see the potential in people and I want to help build that up if I can.
But it is very hard to affirm myself to myself for some reason.
But recently I have been utilizing what God has already available for me and most recently a short study on ‘The 12 Universal Laws.’
Now, hold on a minute, don’t click away thinking I’m some kind of universal energy flow for personal empowerment utilizing the yin and yang nature of all things relevant or found in the universe.
I hate that kind of writing, I don’t even know what I just said.
But I do have a question: If there are universal laws, and if I believe everything is sustained by, to and for Jesus Christ, and if other religions and non religious persons recognize and tap into these laws for their betterment, and if these laws are provable like cause and effect or gravity, it doesn’t matter if you believe in them or not, if you step off of a 10 story building you are not going to test gravity you will prove it and how different body masses react to it and pavement,
then why do Christian people not discuss the laws? If everything is from God?
So I will continue to read, research and test, you can’t forget that, you have to test stuff to see if it really works.
For example, from the exercise world. I am trying to develop a work out that hits my legs and lungs as fast as pushing a 1986 Honda Aspencade/Goldwing touring motorcycle just over 500 feet across a gravel parking lot which causes an excellent depletion of oxygen to your legs in around 8 minutes.
A few things I am testing right now…
exercise, what works for me, a twelve hour fast for health and spiritual reasons, and taking advantage of opportunities that God put’s in front of me. Like pushing a motorcycle across the parking lot as a workout.
Read, research, and test away!!!
